We have identified an intermittent network issue that is causing connections to sometimes fail to internal services such as redis or mysql. This is being caused by locks occurring in iptables due to a high number of rules. We were able to reduce this count, but we are still seeing some connections fail. We will be performing an update tonight to switch from iptables to ipvs to eliminate the issue with locking.
