We will be upgrading our Northern Virginia Aurora MySQL Database instance tomorrow August 23rd at 4:00 AM EDT. This upgrade is in response to potential bugs in Aurora MySQL which can degrade performance when truncate operations are performed. The estimated downtime for this upgrade is up to 5 minutes as the servers upgrade and reboot.
